While the beachfront villa - which features six bedrooms, a pool, a gym, a private chef, and three butlers - sounds particularly appealing, this will most likely be vastly out of most people’s budget.

If you want to experience a life of luxury but with a more affordable price tag, staying in a five-star hotel on Harbour Island will cost around $799 (£627 or €733) per night. Flights to the island’s nearest airport, North Eleuthera Airport, cost around $701 (£550 or €643) from JFK Airport, around $1,034 (£811 or €947) from LAX Airport and around $1,536 (£1,205 or €1,408) from London Heathrow Airport.

Cody Candee, CEO and Founder of Bounce, comments on popular celebrity vacation hotspots:

“People often follow celebrity’s lives on social media, as well as through the news. Of course, this includes highly popular tourist locations such as Barcelona, Cancun, and Miami. But it’s great to see that celebrities like Dua Lipa are helping to put lesser-known destinations, like Pristina in Kosovo, on the map.

More and more celebrities are visiting cities in Japan as well, from reality stars like the Kardashians and Charli D’Amelio to models like Elle Macpherson and Emily Ratajkowski. I highly recommend visiting cities in Japan, such as Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Sapporo. They all have a wide variety of things to experience and explore, including beautiful temples, delicious food and breathtaking art exhibits.

Of course, when you’re exploring a celebrity’s favorite vacation spot, you don’t want your luggage to become a burden. When visiting a new location, it’s advised that you use luggage storage so that you can experience everything the city has to offer without worrying about your belongings.”

Methodology:

We began by creating a seed list of celebrities that had been spotted on vacation in either 2023 or 2024, using sources such as E!.

We then ranked the seed list according to the number of Google News articles made about each celebrity’s vacation.

Next, we conducted desk research to discover details of each celebrity’s vacation (where possible), including where they stayed and what activities they participated in. This included using sources such as Fox News, Daily Mail, People, The Standard, and Grazia. We also estimated how much this would have cost each celebrity using the vendor’s individual websites.

We then discovered a dupe for each celebrity location, using sources such as Travel and Leisure, iNews, Todd Fong, Vrbo, and The Travel.

We used Skyscanner to discover the cost of a return flight for each location from London Heathrow Airport, LAX Airport, and JFK Airport, departing on 26 August 2024 and returning on 2 September 2024.

We used Booking.com to discover the average cost per night to stay in a five-star hotel in each location.

All currencies were converted on 6 August 2024.

Please note that all estimated total costs only include the details that were made public about each celebrity’s holiday.
