Getting to San Siro
San Siro and its sports areas are situated a few miles outside of Milan city center but are well-connected to the rest of the city via public transportation. In general, most travelers will take the Milan Metro to reach the area for games or events. The drive from the city center is not bad, but traffic certainly complicates that on game day.

There aren't any long-distance train stations directly located within San Siro, but you can reach Milano Centrale train station in about 20 minutes via Metro Line M1 or M5. From there, you'll be able to make connections to other cities in Italy and Europe.

Line M5 and M1 are routed through San Siro’s metro stops, including San Siro Ippodromo and San Siro Stadio Stations.

Getting here from the airport
It takes about 45 minutes to get to San Siro from Milan Malpensa Airport and the direct route couldn’t be easier. It’s a little more expensive than public transit but you’ll save at least 30 minutes.
