Unlike many other stadiums around the country, the bag policy here states that no bags are allowed in the ballpark. It's not just about size restrictions, rather no bags are allowed.

There are some exceptions to the policy such as breast pumps for nursing moms, diaper bags for those with infants, and medical bags and equipment. Single-compartment clear bags that don't exceed 5" x 9" and single-compartment clutches in the same size restriction are allowed. This means showing up light is the best plan.

There are storage lockers available, but they are first come first serve and they aren't usually very big. If you've got luggage or oversized bags, you're much better to book with us. You won't need to try and fit your suitcase into a small locker.

Sure, the bag policy may be the first thing on your mind but Truist Park has additional rules and policies that you'll also need to be aware of. Let's take a look at some of the most important ones.

Food and Beverage Policy

There are prohibited items in the food and beverage policy as well. What may come as a surprise is that you can bring in one food item per person, but it has to be in a clear, gallon-sized plastic bag. Something like a Ziploc bag would work. You can also bring in one bottle of water, but it needs to be sealed.

The easier solution is to check out the concession stands inside the park, as there is a huge array of choices in the main concourse. This solves the problem of how much outside food and drink you can bring in.

Transportation Options

Getting to Truist Park doesn't need to be confusing or stressful. The best option is always to take public transit. Traffic can be incredibly busy on game days, so getting there before the first pitch is thrown is questionable. Even finding parking can be tricky on game day in downtown Atlanta.

If you do insist on driving, be sure to buy your parking tickets ahead of time. That will at least ensure you've got a reserved spot.

There is a drop-off zone for rideshares and Uber at the Third Base Gate, which is perfect for those who don't want to walk around the stadium.

As for public transportation, Atlanta is known for having an excellent system such as the MARTA buses that drop people off at the stadium throughout the day. You can even purchase a public transit pass that can be used for all your touring and exploring that day/night.

Cameras and Video Recorders

How about cameras and video recorders? Cameras are allowed at the ballpark, but they can't be professional equipment. If you've got a lens on your camera, it can't be longer than 5". Monopods and tripods are prohibited items. In terms of recording video, you aren't allowed to record game action.

Strollers

Those with young children can bring a stroller to the game, but it needs to be the fold-up style. It also needs to be able to fit under your seat. If it's too big, you can check it with Guest Services on the lower level of the stadium.
