Guests are allowed to bring one bag on game days, but it cannot exceed 16" x 16" x 8". You're encouraged to arrive light, preferably without any bags that need to go through security.

As for what kind of bags are permitted, you can bring clutches, small bags, tote bags, medical bags, and diaper bags. There are no exceptions, it's all about the size of the bag. Hard-sided coolers aren't permitted, but you can bring in soft-sided coolers. Guests should also be aware that all bags will need to go through an X-ray security process. They will also likely be searched.

Progressive Field Outside Food Policy

Progressive Field is a little more lenient where outside food, snacks, and beverages are concerned, which can help you save money. Guests can bring food but Progressive Field security personnel have the final say as to whether it's allowed inside. In terms of beverages, you can bring small single-serving juice boxes, or one factory-sealed water bottle not exceeding 20 oz. Reusable water bottles, squeeze bottles, cans, and metal containers are all prohibited at the park.

The exceptions to this rule are if you're sitting in the Premium Seating areas. If so, you won't be allowed to take outside food or drinks in. No matter where you're sitting, you won't be allowed to bring alcoholic drinks into the stadium. Fans can buy alcohol inside at the concession stands.

You can purchase food and beverages at the concession stands inside the stadium. Some locations even allow you to order food from your seat. Just be warned that the ballpark is a cashless venue, not just for food purchases but all purchases. You can use a debit card, credit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or Guards Mobile Wallet. If needed, there are also reverse ATMs for fans to convert cash into a prepaid card.

Progressive Field Transportation

There are several ways to reach the ballpark for a game or event, it comes down to convenience and cost. If you want to drive, be advised that games draw a lot of people into downtown Cleveland so the roads get busy and parking can be hard to find. It's wise to purchase a parking pass in advance of the event. There are several parking lots in the area of the stadium, but again, they fill up fast.

Public transportation is often the best option. Several buses that will get you to the stadium, or you can take the train. The Complete Rapid Transit is another viable option and is stress-free.

Progressive Field Camera Policy

For those who want to bring cameras to the game, you'll be glad to know they're allowed. What's not allowed at the stadium is professional camera equipment. Items such as selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, and telephoto lenses aren't allowed. Video cameras are also allowed, but footage must be for personal enjoyment, not for resale. Other items like camera bags aren't permitted.
