The in's and out's of the bag policy

Ball Arena Bag Policy Details

The Ball Arena bag policy restricts the type and size of bags allowed into the venue. Oversized bags aren't permitted entry, which includes luggage and backpacks. Bags larger than 4in x 6in x 1.5in will be turned away. Guests entering with an unapproved or oversized bag will need to come up with another solution and unfortunately, Ball Arena doesn't have on-site bag storage.

As part of the safety regulations, all bags will also go through x-ray screening at the gates.

The only exceptions to the bag policy are medical or diaper bags. They will still need to go through a bag check process.

Additional Ball Arena policies

Ball Arena Has Additional Tips and Policies Guests Need to Know

Outside of the bag policy, the arena does have additional rules and policies that all patrons need to follow. We're going to break them down so you know exactly what to expect.

Basic Rules at Ball Arena

  • The only animals allowed at the venue are service dogs. They will need to be leashed, harnessed, or tethered.
  • The arena does not allow camping at the venue. You must enter through general admission gates at the time that the arena is opened for each event. Early access will not be allowed without specific permission related to the unique event and specific tickets.
  • The venue offers ADA-accessible features. It's recommended you speak to guest services if you have any questions.
  • This is a non-smoking venue. Vaping is also prohibited. There are no indoor or outdoor smoking sections, so be prepared not to smoke until you leave the venue.

Ball Arena Transportation

For those planning to drive the Ball Arena parking lots are open three hours before events. Parking staff will remain for one hour after an event has concluded, so you'll want to make sure you get to the parking lot in time.

There are also buses and trains in the Denver Metropolitan area. These are usually the best options, as they are fast, stress-free, and have excellent schedules. You can even take advantage of zero fares during certain times of the year. The MallRide shuttle is free and picks visitors up at the 16th Street Mall. You can ride this shuttle to the arena and leave your car parked at the mall if you wish.

Ball Arena Food and Drink Policy

The food and drink policy is pretty specific, so be sure you know what's considered prohibited items. You aren't allowed to bring outside food and drink into Ball Arena events. You can purchase all kinds of different food and drinks inside at the concessions. The arena only takes cashless payments, so make sure you've got a debit or credit card with you.

Ball Arena camera policy

The Ball Arena camera policy allows personal point-and-shoot cameras but no external flash equipment is allowed. Bipods, monopods, and tripods are also not allowed. Selfie sticks will also be denied entry. Audio and video recording devices are prohibited for most events. Live streaming is not allowed during the event.

The Ball Arena Bag Policy Doesn't Need to Damper Your Experience

Just because Ball Arena's bag policy and other rules are strict doesn't mean it has to negatively affect your experience. Booking temporary luggage storage with us will help you move through the security gates with ease, and allow you to enjoy the game or event worry-free.
