Suvarnabhumi Airport, as Bangkok’s airport is officially known, lies around 30 km or 18.5 miles from the city it serves. The Express Line used to be able to reach the city in as little as 18 minutes, but service on this line has been suspended. The remaining City Link takes around an hour to reach Makkasan Station, and from there, you may need to take a Metro a couple of stops to really reach the heart of the city.

Layover In Mexico City – The Ultimate Guide 2024

Land in Mexico City International Airport for a layover and you'll be just one of around a hundred and forty thousand passengers who use the facility on any particular day. That's a lot of people toing and froing through the installation and no matter how efficient that installation's staff are, hold-ups are inevitable. That's a fact that can make any short layover in Mexico City disappear in a flash and a long layover a whole lot shorter than expected.
