It's home to the famed NFL Philadelphia Eagles, who have won the Super Bowl title once. But it's not just NFL games that take place at Lincoln Financial Field, this venue is somewhat of a chameleon.

At Lincoln Financial Field, fans are strongly encouraged not to bring items with them. You are allowed one bag, container, or package into the stadium gates. There is a clear bag policy in effect, so you'll need to have a clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag to enter. The bag can't exceed 12 X 6 X 12 inches in size. Permitted in this policy are clear fanny packs, clear backpacks, and clear cinch bags.

Small non-clear bags are also allowed as long as they aren't larger than 4.5 x 6.5 inches. The small clutch bag can have a strap or be strapless. To take the bags into the stadium, you'll still need to place the small clutch bags or purse into a clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag. A one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag is acceptable.

The only exceptions are medically necessary items. If you have questions and need more information, it's best to contact staff in advance.

Getting to Lincoln Financial Field

Eagles fans looking for the easiest way to get to the venue are usually best to use public transportation. The subway lets you off at the northeast corner of Pattison Avenue and Broad Street, and from there you can walk to the stadium.

You can also choose to drive to Lincoln Financial, but be warned that traffic is usually pretty busy, especially on game days. Philadelphia is a big and lively city, so heavy traffic is the norm which can make parking difficult. Parking lots will fill up fast and can be very expensive.

You can visit the venue's website for a map that details where parking is located for events and sports games. The map will also show you how far from Lincoln Financial Field you'll be. The best advice is to arrive early so you can find a spot and allow time to still walk to Lincoln Financial from the parking lot. Access to the parking lots starts four and a half hours before game time.

Tailgating is prohibited in most of the parking garages and lots near the stadium.

Lincoln Financial Field Entry and Re-Entry Policies

The first gates to open are in The Pepsi Plaza, which is on the north side of the venue. Entry begins three hours before Eagles games. All the inner stadium gates open about 90 minutes before game time or events. Once you leave the stadium, there is no re-entry allowed.

Lincoln Financial Field Food and Beverage Policy

In terms of the food and drink policy, there is a bit of flexibility. You can bring food in as long as it is wrapped in clear plastic. It must be individual portions. You can also bring an empty plastic water bottle to fill in the stadium.

For parents of young children, there is an exception granted. Bottles and formula are allowed but they also need to be in a clear plastic bag, like a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag.

You'll have no problem finding food, drinks, and alcoholic beverages inside the main concourse and throughout the stadium at various concessions. Be advised that cash isn't accepted as payment at the shops or concession stands since this is a cashless stadium. A credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay are all accepted payment options for any purchase.

Lincoln Financial Field Camera Policy

You can bring cameras into the stadium to capture all the memorable moments of the Eagles games or concerts, but be advised there are some rules. Cameras can't have professional equipment such as tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks, and the lenses can't be longer than six inches, it gets in the way of other guests.

You also can't carry camera bags into the stadium, you'll need to put your camera into your main clear bag or Ziploc bag.

This entrance can only be used by Club Seat Members, suites ticket holders (Suite Members), and fans with disabilities.
